Renovation work update

If you haven't already, please have a look at some of the pictures on the 2021 refurbishment work page.

So far the work has focused on redecoration - Rooms 1,4,5,6,7 & 9 and the corridor and landing have been totally redecorated upstairs. Room 15, the office and 3 rooms in the CA area downstairs have been done, along with the majority of the main hall.

The fascia boards on the far end of the building have been done and work has started on painting the front windows.

Upstairs, the old toilets have been removed, waiting for the new fittings to be installed.

If you have been into or past the building in the last couple of days, you may have noticed the scaffolding, which now goes to the tops of the chimneys - this is to allow repair work to them.

The flat roof from the porch has been removed and will be replaced when the weather permits.

There is still a lot of work to go, but it will be worth it!
